About Us

The money of the United Kingdom is the pound sterling (£).All British coins except the comparatively new £2 had a new design published in 2008 and are beginning to appear on the street in increasing numbers in early 2009.All UK coins have the portrait of the reigning monarch, queen Elizabeth 11 on one side. The £1 coins have emblems describing the nations of England, Scotland and Wales on the front side.
